This client wanted to incorporate a range of materials including a large slab of reclaimed wood into their outdoor kitchen. With the stone fireplace located where it is, it acts as a room divide as well as a focal piece. The homeowners are thus able to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace from within the dining room or the elevated lounge area.
