Hodge Residence

1920's Tudor style residence, built in the era of household staff, has been renovated for a family to live with modern connections of rooms to each other and exterior. New work has been designed and built to the very substantial quality and character of the existing.
The rooms updated are the kitchen, mudroom and study, family room, and master suite.

Cozy family room with built-ins. We created a new opening between this room and the back foyer--behind the book-caes--seen with sconces mounted on panels, flanking opening. This allows for immediate access to outside as well as the back stair to second floor, and close connection to the kitchen.

Cozy and beautifully detailed Master Bath with 2 sinks, toilet and shower, and bathing alcove for drop-in tub under sloped cieling and skylight. Tub is a Kohler with an "Infinity" version, with an overflow trench around all 4 sides.

Classic Elizabethan style vanity. Cabinets surrounding mirror come to vanity top to form sense of enclosure. Cabinets have lots of drawers, all sizes adn depths.
