Oquossoc Kitchen On The Lake
At a lakeside cottage, a new kitchen and extended porch were created to update this family-legacy home for the generations to come. A sensitivity to the existing materials, used in new ways, make inviting new spaces that join with the existing home perfectly. The kitchen's central element is the cooking hearth made of the same stone as an existing fireplace in the adjacent living room. All of this is only in support of the lovely lake, with an adjacent loon cove, and the Maine woods. Spyglass wants to give special thanks to the Owners, Mark Gordon/RBR and his entire team, and Rick Nelson/Knickerbocker Architects. Great vision and professionalism by all.
