How To Assemble A Chiminea

A chiminea is a great addition to any deck or patio. This shows just how easy it is for anyone to assemble this chiminea. This cast aluminum chiminea will withstand the elements and provide years of wood burning satisfaction. A wood burning chiminea could also be converted to gas or propane if you don't like the hassle of wood burning. There are many more styles to choose from to match any outdoor decor.
The Parts - Chimineas
The only tools you need are a pair of pliers and a Philips head screw driver. You will receive the body of the chiminea, the chimney stack, 3 legs, bottom fire grate, cook top grate, spark arrestor, screen door, rain lid and a bottle of touch up paint for any scratches it might get during use.

Leg Assembly - Products
Each leg for the chiminea will have 2 nuts, 2 lock washers, and 2 washers.

Inserting The Legs To The Base - Products
Insert the leg bolts through the pre-drilled holes.

Tighten The Hardware - Products
Using pliers, tighten up the hardware for the legs.

Repeat the process for the other two legs.

The door latch comes pre-assembled inside of the chiminea for shipping purposes. This will need to be dis-assembled.

Remove Door Latch - Products
Remove the hardware.

Re-install Door Latch - Products
Re-install the latch to the outside of the chiminea using the same hardware.

Tighten Hardware - Products
Make sure to fully tighten the hardware.

Attach The Door - Products
The door of the chiminea gets installed to the base.

Make sure all the bolts are tight.

Insert Bottom Grates - Products
The chiminea comes with a grate to keep the wood off the bottom for better burning. Simply slide the grates in the mouth of the chiminea.

The chiminea also comes with a cook top grate for easy barbecuing.

Chimney Stack Attachment - Products
Place the chimney stack on the base of the chiminea and tighten the pressure screws that are provided.

Place the small spark arrestor screen at the top of the chimney stack.

The chiminea also includes a lid for the chimney stack to keep excess rain from entering the chiminea. Now it's time to light a fire and enjoy the summer nights!
