Hudson Valley Passive House
Conceptual design for a high-performance residential building in the Hudson Valley, developed using Passive House principles and an integrated, AI-assisted design workflow. The project explores an envelope-first approach, combining compact massing, optimized orientation, and high-performance glazing to reduce energy demand while enhancing occupant comfort. A continuous, airtight, and highly insulated envelope is paired with controlled daylighting and natural materials, creating a calm and efficient living environment. AI tools were used as part of the design exploration process to test spatial and material variations, supporting a performance-driven and iterative architectural approach.
