As empty-nesters advancing in age, we looked to make our two-story house more readily accessible. Through remodeling and putting an addition on the house, we felt our needs could be met. Our first encounter with Talon demonstrated the importance of a “Design-Build” concept. We discussed many of our and their ideas and viewed examples from their projects. It was clear that more effort invested upfront increased the likelihood the final product would be what we wanted. It was a refreshing difference, not the usual “I know what you want, trust me”. Designer Brian communicated well with us throughout the maturation of the design and included 3D-CAD presentations which were very important for us to “see” exactly what we would get at completion. Blueprints are sometimes hard to visualize the final product. All tradesmen, Talon employees, and sub-contractors were excellent workers. They were efficient, respectful of our time and property, provided high-quality results. Supervisor Hutch was an excellent communicator of what to expect daily, important since we were living in the home during construction. The new addition blended perfectly with the rest of the home as if it were part of the original construction. Talon gave us a high-quality product, on time and at a fair price and we are thoroughly enjoying the result.
