This kitchen remodel in a single family residence in Indiana started with an awkward, small galley kitchen. We were able to open up most of the space, but the return back into the corner was not able to be altered without losing a bedroom. We chose to put all the 'kitchen clutter' and appliances back there to hide it from view when you enter the home.

The clerestory windows were made into a feature by holding the upper cabinets below the sill, and under lighting them. This makes a very functional, and beautiful 'extra' counter space area within the kitchen.

The cooking island with a floating wood bar top creates a comfortable and inviting area for family and friends to gather outside of the work space.
