A small but fantastic inner city apartment for a fun lady who wanted to put her own stamp on her new dwelling. The blue feminine abstract artwork you see in the lounge room was actually very grey. There was no artist credited on the piece, so i decided to add in some blue detail to the grey image. It was just the right touch! Adding a grey feature stripe painted section really helped frame the piece, and the mirrors created great interest flanking the expressive and beautiful artwork.
The modular sofa was from ing furniture, and was perfect as it converts into a queen size bed for overnight guests when required. The rug was a stunning silk and wool rug from my friends at Designer Rugs here in Leichhardt, Sydney. It makes the room don't you think?
