A published interior designer recently asked me to help renovate the dated kitchen of her ultra-charming home in Rye NY. Eliminating a door under the stairs allowed us to center the range. We moved the refrigerator to the opposite wall and added a huge pantry with microwave. We accentuated the high ceilings with v-groove panelling and high glass fronted doors flanking the range. We carried the beautiful soft blue Ann Sacks tile up the walls to accentuate the height and minimize transition lines. Cabinetry by Schrocks of Walnut Creek.
