Not wishing to leave their established home and close-by friends, the family opted to expand their home with a second floor addition over the garage. The entire second floor was reworked to maximize spaces and reduce overlap by family members. The first floor received a full face-lift and was taken down to studs. The resulting space is open and bright, allowing living to occur in multiple spaces while remaining engaged with family and visiting friends.
