Julia Clare Interiors was engaged to redesign the master bedroom and lounge for this modern detached family home. The brief was to create a warm, tactile environment, inspired by Middle-Eastern cultures and textiles and earthy colours with raw wood, tan leather and cosy wool used throughout. Kelim-style fabrics were used to upholster existing pieces of furniture and a designer sheep wool chairs and stools were added. Soft, natural colours in the wall colour and curtain fabrics create a low-key, relaxed environment which captures and expresses he client's own unique style and taste.
