Shawfarm Apartments

A full 1970s apartment redesign began with the hallway and lounge which both make a striking statement of luxury and good taste as soon as you walk in. The dining room is currently being designed. This project began with a colour consultation to establish the palette of the entire home and a holistic approach was taken to the space. The brief was to create a welcoming and moody entrance which was a achieved through rich colour and dramatic lighting. Art by Vermeer inspired the colour palette and choice of fabrics; silk and velvet. The main balcony window was treated with a light-enhancing linen voile for summer and a dark ombre velvet curtain from a Julia Clare Interiors' own Ionion collection. This design was also repeated in the bespoke hallway lampshades.

A designer rug adds a Nordic feel and the style of the new limestone fireplace is in keeping with the style of the property. This is now a homely, luxurious apartment full of beautiful textiles and finishes as well as a space-enhancing arrangement of furniture.
