An interior layout was updated to create a more modern, user friendly, and open floor plan. A fireplace and brick accent wall were extended to create a warm and cozy family room off of the kitchen. The large island, with an oven hood and blown glass pendant lights, add a modern twist to this otherwise classic style kitchen. The ceiling was raised and an exposed timber support beam was added to tie in the modern and rustic feeling of this remodel.
