This Weston client really wanted a kitchen island which dramatically improved the traffic flow from the old L-shaped kitchen. Custom cabinets were built into available walls which maximized storage and space. The slightly-iridescent subway tile finish with the random waves gives adds depth and dimension. The floating wooden shelves provide a minimalist and contemporary appearance while adding warmth.
