When creating a "themed" home or space using authentic items should be tops on the list of requirements, especially when the theme is truly unique. No room here for "looks like or similar to" items. Quality counts.

A hand crafted display shelf that replicated the feel and drama of this model ship was needed for this project. Our client's father hand built this authentic model of an old world sailing vessel, but never had an opportunity to display it in the grand manner it deserved. Working with our client, and our furniture craftsman Robert Ooms (of www.OldWorldFurniture.net) we designed this wonderful tribute to display this model ship. Overall size is 48w X 27h X 15 inches deep. This model and the custom shelf now graces a 22 foot tall angled wall above the dining room, just off the foyer.

Our client loves the medieval period with knights in armor, castles, horses, and all the mystique of that time. So, for her home, we created may wonderfully themed rooms. Each space has been carefully designed to depict a true sense of being transported back in time using authentically replicated pieces.
