Kolb Homestead (c.1850)
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Kolb Homestead is a 58 acres farm rich with historic residential and agricultural buildings including a handsome 1850’s farmhouse. To transition the historic farm into the future, our clients have established rare crops and heritage livestock breeds with the intention of creating a hands-on agricultural experience for guests. Activities will center around the restored farmhouse, which will house bed-and-breakfast style guest suites, a library, chef’s kitchen and wrap-around porch. While the home will be expanded significantly, all efforts has been made to preserve and enhance the home’s historical features. After completion, this unique agri-tourism site will provide an unforgettable experience for guests seeking a closer connection to the source of their food.
