Lavish Master Suite, Auburn

The owners of this secluded 1988 home requested that their large master suite
become a luxurious spa-like space, retaining the open concept of the suite. Where there was once a step-up bathtub area was reconfigured into an undermounted soaking tub for two. A dividing wall was removed, and the shower was relocated to include a suspended bench, our signature trough drain, wall niche, and multiple shower controls.
Custom cabinetry with specially requested features and functions were
installed with custom fabricated granite sinks, a lowered makeup area, and
heated tile flooring. Their personal taste is reflected in the flow of the entire master suite.

The vanity features a Bianco Macabus quartzite countertop that was used to also custom fabricate slab sinks with wall mounted faucet fixtures.
His & Hers Sinks
These sinks are completely custom fabricated to seamlessly flow with the countertop. An infinity drain installed in the back of the sink is nearly invisible within this construction.

This shower features two specialty mosaics to break up the wall tile on the shower surround.
Lavish Master Suite in Auburn
Both the shower and the bath feature accents of the Bianco Macabus quartzite. These features are both completely custom to fit the space, from the bench in the shower to the slab tub surround.

To emphasize a lavish spa space, the tub was finished with the same Bianco Macabus quartize as used on the countertop to make a smooth surrounding. To accent the quartzite, a simple large format tile was used as a backsplash around the tub.

The entry into this master spa space is completely open from the master bedroom. The walk in closet to the right is the only enclosed space in this master suite.

This beautiful bath space is completely open concept as it has open entry into the master bedroom. We wanted to make this entry feel seamless, so the addition of a custom back-lit, onyx wall niche makes the space feel elegant and calming as you leave one space and enter another.
Onyx Wall Insert
The fireplace in the master suite was updated with the rest, to match the luxurious feel the homeowners were going for. A Black Silk granite was used to reface this gas stove.
