In the Lawrence Park South area, this home lacked on-site parking, a common issue with older Toronto properties. Due to a narrow mutual driveway, safe access to the backyard was a challenge.

Our task was to create a front yard parking space and assist in obtaining the necessary permit. Redesigning the porch was essential to seamlessly integrate it with the new parking area cut into the elevated front yard.

Opting for a contemporary aesthetic, we introduced a second set of steps to simplify garden maintenance. The planting scheme incorporated modern grass varieties, boxwood, and hydrangeas for a touch of blooms.

To imbue the design with a hint of classic charm, we selected concrete pavers that evoke an old-world appeal.
