Leaside Makeover
Jennifer Hayman Design Group was very pleased to be working with this homeowner on our second project together to create a multi-functional backyard space.
When we arrived, there was a very large, old garage taking a large portion of the backyard, with the frame of a shed behind it, and a very small, awkward deck.
Our designer removed the garage, exposing a covered dining area behind the shed, where we hung an antique yellow chandelier the homeowner found.
The lawn was bordered with natural Indian stone, creating a natural barrier between the garden and the children’s play area on the grass. Acting as a low-maintenance tool to keep the garden separate, it quickly became a favourite addition to their play space.
