Liepke Addition / Remodeling

A two-story addition now connects this 1915 Prairie Style home with the formerly detached garage. The addition incorporates a new kitchen, casual dining area, entry hall, rebuilt pantry, half bath and new stair hall on the main level. The kitchen/casual dining area is the centerpiece of the addition. A decorative ceiling treatment unifies the room while cabinets and a change in level define functional areas in the Prairie School tradition.

The front porch was also converted to year-round use with the addition of new windows and entry door. The approach to the home was enhanced through the use of new steps, planters, landscape walls and sidewalks.
