Low country styled home

Hilton Head Area Home Builders Association award winning overall BEST EXTERIOR, 2019
The client asked I help with renovating their existing mansard roof home (see before image). After devising a renovation plan, which was then put out for pricing, we studied the cost and the time frame that would be needed to fully complete the renovation. The renovation would have taken over two years to complete, needing to be done in sectioned stages. Alternatively, the client decided to tear the existing home down and build anew.

Screened in porch with room for dining area and sitting areas. The screened porch overlooks the pool below and the marsh and water way beyond. The sliding glass doors we centered between the columns to provide an unobstructed view.

The master bathroom was designed so both he and she had their own vanities, with a shared medicine, storage, cabinet. To allow for ample light a window was accounted for in the room and transoms windows centered above the vanities. To glass shower was chosen to help the bathroom feel more spacious....
