On the fairway

Custom designed home with a rear pool, spa great room and screened porch over looking a fairway. The home was designed to have a pair of master suites, 2 bedrooms , a bunk room, second floor lounge with a kitchenette. The main living spaces are all open to one another. The family room, breakfast area, kitchen and dining area all adjoining and open to each space.

A view of the front door leading into the foyer and the central hall, beyond. The front porch floor is of local hand crafted brick. The vault in the ceiling mimics the gable element on the front porch roof.

The client's home office. The soft colors on the walls pulls form the pictures hanging on the wall. We choose to stain the coffered wood beams and paint the tongue and groove ceiling.

Here we see a view of the back kitchen. This is a bit more than just a butlers pantry. We change the cabinet color to a softer tone, than the white color of the kitchen cabinets.

In collaboration with my client we found a space for a small bill paying station, or scullery. This space is part of the laundry room, but it is typical a quiet to write and create family plans.
