The first floor of my client’s home was dated and the rooms were small. She wanted it opened up and changed, she just wasn’t sure what changes to make. We used our room layout software to show her what was possible. We removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room, in addition to the wall between the kitchen and family room. We had an island custom made, and made sure the style of it fit with the existing cabinetry, which was staying. We removed carpeting and put the same flooring throughout. We painted the entire first floor. We updated the bathroom.
