This 1940′s split level home was cursed with disjointed rooms, low ceilings and dimly lit spaces. By opening up the stairwell and adding a pass through at the kitchen window this kitchen becomes more a part of the first floor. To accomplish the high issue a large pyramid shaped opening was installed to add a feeling of height and the much needed light.
