The design for this cabinet was generated by a need to hold mail brought into the house until it could be sorted and processed. The idea; walk in the front door with mail in hand, slip mail through the hand-pull slot of top drawer. The hand-pull cut-outs are coordinated w/ the strip of walnut let-into the top. Materials is Apple-Ply plywood and solid walnut. Drawer slides are BLUM Tandem under-mount slides.
