This attic bedroom needed extensive work including attaching a dormer bathroom, new insulation, drywall and finishing. It was a labour of love! Once the room came together, we added built in cabinets with motion sensing lights and solar powered blinds to the skylights for ease of use. Here we have mixed the old with the new. The bed is a French antique that was upholstered to fit with the colour scheme. I believe that mixing and matching is what makes a space unique and personal. I very much enjoy searching out that special piece!
