The homeowners wanted to open up the walls spaces on the main floor of this traditional Georgian style home. By removing walls and thus adding beams into the ceiling and some columns we were able to open up the kitchen to the family room and the living room. The living room and family room share a two sided fireplace which enhances the feeling of the open floor plan. The house has a cozy warm feeling with beautiful cherry floors, cabinetry designed by YHA and well placed lighting.
