Client wanted to bring more natural light into the bathroom and make the master bath a sanctuary. We enlarged the bathroom taking in two closets, rearranged all of the fixtures, turned a sitting area into a walk-in closet and added a beverage center to the bedroom. To increase the natural light we designed a long narrow window that would allow light in, but also allow for privacy in the bathroom and installed a frosted glass sliding door to the bedroom. Because the client like to listen/watch the news while getting dressed, we insured site lines from the bathroom vanity to the TV and put a ceiling mounted TV speaker in the bathroom. The marble floor, countertop and shower and niche accents provide a luxurious look. The custom accessible zero threshold shower boasts 3 showerheads, a bench and a niche. Two niches flank the freestanding Oceania tub and Kohler tub filler and hand spray. Dark vanity and linen cabinets from Medallion Cabinetry contrast the light colors elsewhere in the room. Additionally, a small beverage center with floating shelves above was installed in the bedroom. Perfect for having a morning coffee while getting ready for the day or a night cap before turning in!
