We used the 72" closet space in the entry and the old furnace closet to widen this galley kitchen. The furnace was moved into the attic space. We also created a large pantry closet at the end of the kitchen from a recessed area in the living room. A TV now hangs on the back of that pantry with a recessed cabinet underneath to house the audio/visual components.
