Master Suite Addition - Transitional

A new master suite was added on the second floor above an existing screened porch. The suite features a spacious master bath, vaulted ceilings, large closet with closet organization system and a fireplace. The old master bedroom was divided to create a smaller bedroom and bath for the oldest daughter.

A new master suite was added above an existing screened porch. Both the interior and exterior of the addition are created from materials that match with the existing home.

The new master bedroom features a vaulted ceiling and hardwoods stained to match existing floors in the home. Recessed lighting in the ceiling is specifically designed for vaulted ceilings. Large window throughout the space provide an abundance of light and a great view of the property.

Features of the master suite include a Napoleon 42" Allure electric fireplace with a traditional arabesque tile surround and mantle. While providing ambiance for the space, the electric fireplace is safe to use with small children in the home.

The entry to the new master suite addition was created by removing a corner linen closet. The old master suite was renovated into a suite for the oldest daughter and includes a private bath.

The master bath includes his and her vanities, a make up vanity, pivot mirrors and a sun tunnel. The spacious shower with sliced pebble flooring includes three body sprays, a rain head and a separate hand shower. A teak bench was selected for seating in the shower.
