This custom home was modeled after the homeowners boyhood home in Mississippi. The large windows and screen porch created a great entertaining space that looked out to the valley below.

Larch wood siding was used because of its resistance to rot and insects.

This massive fireplace is the heart of the home and are the point where all the structural components are supported. The fireplace was constructed using Rumford specifications that not only provides beauty, but efficient heating.

The large second story windows bring nature right into the home and allow for breathtaking views.

The custom railing was created by Jamie Chernicky. The metal spindles were beaded to recreate a bark look.

The wainscotting and beams were wrapped with wood that was produced by milling the trees off the property. Some of the boards produce were 18 inches wide.

The Larch flooring gave the look of heart Pine and blended well with all the other natural wood used in the home.
