This was a radical remodel of a standard-issue Eichler-Era townhouse. The design team restructured the floor plan and re-clad the residence with modern materials, creating a dynamic, open, light-filled loft space. Interior furnishings are clean-lined but comfortable, reflecting the client's desire for minimalist living.

This project won a prestigious Honor Award for outstanding residential architecture from the San Mateo AIA (American Institute of Architects).
