We took over this project from a family that purchased the home as a vacation/short term rental property and thought they would make a few cosmetic changes, but soon found out that the home required extensive work, including re-wiring the house and replacing the completely corroded pipes. We also recommended they abandon the idea of creating a 3rd bedroom in the attic (as the attic would make the most cost-effective place to put their new plumbing and HVAC), and instead convert the existing 1 car garage into a sizeable master suite. We fully redesigned the home, and took a look at our client's pinterest pins to get an understanding of their taste. We stripped this house to its bones, renovated it completely, and our in house-decor maven furnished it to their mid-century taste in order to present them with a turn-key vacation home.
