Mid-Century Minimalism
Mid-Century Minimalism is a complete redesign of a mid-century bungalow in Etobicoke.
In this redesign, we redistributed function throughout the ground level to create subtly partitioned open concept spaces. To suit our client's minimalist stylistic preferences, decor was kept to a minimum and architectural gestures were used to create vignettes as you move through this home.
Overall colour palette is rather minimalist with warmth and texture emanates only from natural oiled walnut floors, subtle use of wood throughout and artwork. Contract is created with restraint use of black accents. Black accents are also used to delineate space to define rooms within an open concept flow.
