Mid Century Remodel

This Post-War Modern house went from dated and dark to bright and inviting with a few simple changes and updated finishes. The biggest impact came by knocking out the structural wall in the middle of the house, and replacing it with new posts and beams to rearrange the floor plan. The new layout allowed us to create a master suite by converting a small bedroom into a en-suite bathroom retreat, adorned with a free-standing tub, walk-in shower, and double vanities. Because of the mid-century era the house was built, the interior finishes were selected to enhance that. Between the bleached oak flooring, new cabinets and countertops, and updated paint throughout, this remodel screams mid-century. Custom divider screens throughout the house keep the open concept feeling while maintaining the comfort of separate, comfortable spaces.
