Desert building sites provide an array of challenges. For this Desert Modern Home, an upward sloping lot required excavating into the mountain to place the living quarters, and then creating a floating Patio connected to the Pool some twenty feet above grade. Sloping roof sections intersect with each other and with flat portions that mimic the rugged mountain terrain. Main level contains Great Room and Master Suite, while the second level, over the Garages, provide additional Bedrooms and an Office.
