Modern House on a Mountain

Our client purchased a unique home set into the side of a mountain in Phoenix. We updated all the flooring, and lighting (fixed), redesigned a traditional fireplace into a modern WOW focal point,updated the wall colors and finishes, and furnished it top to bottom.

A perfect alcove for a wet bar! S Interior Design custom designed the layout, cabinetry wood species and stain finish, a unique way to display wine bottles and some LED lighting to highlight a beautiful piece of granite on the counter tops and back splash area.

The homeowner did not need additional sit down table space in the kitchen so we designed a comfortable seating vignette for him to enjoy his morning coffee and admire his view of the hillside outside. Modern roller shades cut glare and provide a bit of privacy.

The master bedroom is a great mix of materials . An upholstered bed with side wings visually and physically soften the space. Once again the mostly neutral palette is accented with pops of varying rich shades of blue.
