The owner of this former rental property wanted to give this house a facelift. The kitchen was opened up with a new island for counter height seating, and flows into an adjacent dining area. An exterior door was added to give access to the backyard from the kitchen and brings in more natural light.

The choice of stainless steel industrial cabinet pulls and fixtures, mixed with more traditional subway tile, gives the room a retro modern feel. The white backsplash, dark gray quartz, and light grayish blue paint creates a clean and simple palette. In the bathroom, the theme of grays and white continues with a linen texture ceramic tile flowing from the floor into the alcove shower.
