The "on-the-go" couple and their family for this 4,000 square foot ranch-ey bungalow, wanted the perfect mix of charm and character with refined modern detailing. The foyer to the house sits in the center of the ranch style layout; to the left of the foyer are the public spaces, to the right are the private spaces. Clean, simple, and timeless were constant descriptions we used during the design phase. Light and airy materials with mindful selections of budget friendly finishes, balanced out some small splurges. The open plan required the finish and material selections to all work together. The tile flooring at the foyer interrupts the long hallway and breaks up the sea of wood floors. More tile flooring at the bathrooms, the mud room and laundry make for clean and contemporary design.
