Modern Ski Condominium

In a traditional ski condo building this ultra modern boldly colored space is a standout. "Make it look like an Apple Store" was the creative brief issued by the client's 10 year old son before I started the project.

Custom cubbies were designed around the client's ski storage needs with places for helmets, boots, hanging clothes and a copper lined trough for wet skis. Also, a built-in bench for putting boots on and off. Photo by Kat Alves

This was one option given to this client who wanted some warm woods in the space amidst lots of white area and some bright color pop.

There was a small space next to the front door to be utilized for ski and gear storage. The concrete trough and extension from the bathroom floor created a place for wet boots to land.
