Having not renovated the log cottage since its purchase 15 years ago, the kitchen is what aged the quickest. Its layout didn't allow the growing family to participate in meal preparation together and the storage was definitely not optimized. The kitchen is the first of many projects that will elevate this equestrian home away from home. We're working towards a more neutral and soft color palette while keeping all the casual coziness you would expect and want from a cottage. Elegant shaker cabinetry with face framed sections, combined with a raw wood detail on the hood and concrete countertops are contrasted by transitional matte black accents for this kitchen we hope will host many more family gatherings to come!
