This 1920's NDG house still had its original kitchen so when my clients purchased the home, they knew they needed things to change for it to work for their family. We relocated the small laundry room that was adjacent to the galley kitchen and removed the wall dividing the kitchen and the dining room. With a much bigger space, we were able to include an island which was at the top of my clients' wishlist. We also took the opportunity to replace the window for a much larger one, which allows natural light to flood into the kitchen and travel into the dining and living area. My clients wanted lots of open storage spaces to have most items easily accessible for relaxed entertaining and cooking.
