It's always important for me to design a space to its full potential, using every square foot in the best way possible, especially in highly functional rooms such as bathrooms. This bathroom is shared by a family of four! They love their home and want to stay there for years and years to follow so they contacted me to adapt the room to their growing needs. Now that their girls are older, it was time to ditch the tub and focus on a walk-in shower and as much storage as possible. I designed a custom wall-mount vanity to fit a compact sink as well as a unit which includes 4 drawers (everyone gets their own!) and shelves hidden behind doors to keep the look simple. This unit also hides a structural element which couldn't be moved. Mirrors inside the upper doors were included for more prep space opposite the sink. The medicine cabinet was also custom designed so it would extend over the toilet and bounce more light around the room, not to mention, again, more storage! SOLL Solutions did an amazing job on the cabinetry, I'm super happy with how it turned out! Heated floors and a long towel warmer are all the heating this room needs. The color scheme was inspired by other pastels used throughout the clients' home and was meant to keep the bathroom nice and bright. It's also very cheerful which I love! It's surprising how small the room is yet it really doesn't feel tight at all.
