Muttontown Home Renovation
In this North Shore renovation, our Long Island studio transformed one side of the home by opening the space between the kitchen and den, reconfiguring the layout to better support modern family living. The result is a sophisticated yet highly functional environment where every element is tailored to the rhythm of daily life.
The kitchen anchors the design with its quiet elegance. Custom light oak cabinetry, veined quartz surfaces, and brushed gold fixtures strike a balance between warmth and refinement. A sculptural white hood with brass inlay becomes an architectural focal point, while seamless storage solutions and curated styling support both form and function.
The serene family room invites the family to relax in style, with soft neutrals and elegant textures creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. A slatted wood feature wall adds architectural interest behind the television, while the built-in shelving and furniture layout promote ease, intimacy, and a sense of connection.
The adjacent dining area is framed by skylights and large glass doors, filling the space with natural light. A custom table and sculptural chairs create a clean, modern setting for gathering, subtly echoing the material palette of the kitchen.
Even the mudroom, often overlooked in design, was elevated with custom millwork and thoughtful detailing. Integrated storage, soft wood tones, and a window seat enhance the space's functionality without compromising its visual integrity.
Together, these spaces reflect our studio’s philosophy: that livable luxury is achieved through architectural clarity, nuanced materiality, and a deep understanding of how design can elevate the everyday.
