Demolition of previous deck led to us finding that it had not been properly built or flashed which, caused water to pour down (inside the wall). The Framing supporting the 2nd floor was not only built the wrong size (2”x4”) vs. (2”x6”) but, was rotting and inhibited by mold. We replaced the entire wall, framing, sheathing, insulation, electrical wiring and outlets, Sheetrock, texture, trim, and paint before building the NEW Deck with Composite Roof.
