Located in the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, the renovation of an existing two-unit building creates a modern dwelling for a large family. The renovation included the addition of a new fourth-level master suite, a new facade and new interior spaces. BCV collaborated with other design team members to re-envision the vertical flow of the home and integrate interior architectural detailing that would link together its various social spaces. A custom steel and wood staircase at the center of the residence connects each level.
