This was a condo with a 1980's builder basic kitchen. The oak cabinets were updated with paint, moulding and new hardware. The tile backsplash features tile that looks like wood with a counter to ceiling vignette with custom made shelves for a strong focal point. The plum we chose for the lower cabinets was a color pulled directly out of the granite. Antique brass pulls add sophistication. The dropped 80's light box ceiling was coffered and finished with trim, then painted the same color as the wall color to add drama. An antique brass light fixture ties in with the pulls and knobs.
