This unique property abuts a horse farm with gorgeous field views and occasional horse visitors. The homeowners had very different styles so our approach appealed to both--formal and natural. We lowered the main patio to create an intimate space for entertaining while preserving the cherished view from the house down the allee of Cherry trees leading to the meadow beyond. There is a firepit, steps and a path through the woodland garden and a niche garden bed built into the wall. As well, the old root cellar was refaced with stone and the front entry courtyard was embellished with the enchanting curly band of grasses.
