This kitchen opens beautifully to the adjacent family room, creating an inviting space for every day living as well as entertaining. One room flows seamlessly into the next by means of the large L-shaped peninsula, which serves both rooms equally well. The cabinetry is Brookhaven I by Wood-Mode; Edgemont Recessed door with matching drawer head; Nordic White paint on maple. The stainless steel appliances are by Wolf and Sub-Zero, and include a 36" cooktop and hood, built-in double ovens, and a built-in 42" refrigerator. The countertops are Vermont Grey granite, and the backsplash is white Carrera marble tile. The kitchen features two tall built-in pantries as well. Connecticut Kitchen Design also created a custom hutch piece for the family room, which is finished in Candlelight stain on cherry.
