This is done by configuring the plan to form a series of exterior spaces. An entry courtyard buffers the house from the street and guest parking. A quiet courtyard is formed off the library with views across to a family photo gallery. A large living and entertaining terrace extends from the kitchen and gathering area. The design takes advantage of the sloping site to place this terrace in the trees.
